Sharing stories, talking, singing, and playing every day helps your child’s development in many ways. Reading helps develop early literacy skills; develops a child’s ability to focus and builds social and communication skills; and helps your child learn about their world. 

Telling stories, saying rhymes, and singing songs are great activities for building literacy skills. Your child will learn words and develop language skills.
